A Daily Wearable Originality

Scotch & Soda is well-known to be much more than a fashion brand. It’s a state of mind, a journey in an inspirational and colorful world of well-studied details, a rare atmosphere, a lifestyle apart. Born in Amsterdam in the 1980s, this very inspired brand takes its essence in all kind of arts; painting, architecture, ruin, poem, vintage piece as many more. They even created their own home accessories collection, « Scotch Collectables », by finding and renovating decoration treasures.

My crush items for this winter on the Scotch & Soda webshop:

But if I were you, I would go directly in store. The good vibes you can feel there will make you dream! The hanger appeal of each garment, by all the small details and the smooth hand feel of every single fabric, makes you want to try and buy everything. The Brand recently opened 27 U.S. retail locations including locations in San Francisco, Miami, Chicago and, of course, in New York where they took place in Williamsburg, Soho, the West Village and the last but not least, the Upper West Side. Scotch & Soda definitely stepped up their New York presence with their amazing spring/summer 2017 presentation at the Angel Orensanz foundation (a Gothic Revival synagogue) at the New York Fashion Week last September.

I had the privilege to attend the show and I can tell you how incredible it was! The scene took place in this special and old synagogue in the Lower East Side, where a secret and mysterious garden has been recreated. They imagined a magical and natural world where animals and creatures make the rules. They called the collection « The world according to heavenly creatures ». Here are some pictures  I took on that beautiful day, I hope you will enjoy as much as I did!
