I’d like to share with you this new idea I had recently: starting my day with an energy and vitamins shot! Homemade, of course!
The recipe is quite simple:
- half a banana
- a quarter of a small lemon
- a piece of fresh ginger
- 1 tsp olive oil
- a few Italian parsley leaves
- ice cubes
Banana: contain several essential nutrients and provide benefits for digestion, heart health and weight loss. Bananas contain a fair amount of fiber, as well as several antioxidants.
Lemon & Olive Oil: energy boosters and an effective way to remove fat from your body! Lemons are vitamin C-rich and provide vitamin B, proteins, potassium, carbohydrates and phosphorous. Strong antioxidant. Olive oil helps clean and keep a healthy function of your liver.
Fresh Ginger: help relieve gastrointestinal irritation & suppress gastric contractions
